BUDDY/SUPPORT WORKER REQUIRED
Support Worker needed for a client who lives in the Leicester/Loughborough area. Our client is a 16 year old boy with cerebral palsy. He requires support and assistance to develop his interests, participate in age appropriate activities, and enhance his vocational opportunities.
The role take the form of a ‘Buddy’, and work will involve helping with aspects of the clients therapy programme and college work, working closely with the relevant professionals.
Positions will be offered on a part-time ‘as required’ basis – this will include days and may include some weekend and evening work. Rates of pay will range from £9.50 to £10.50 per hour depending on experience, day and time of working.
All posts are subject to CRB Enhanced Disclosure. Full training will be provided. However, applicants should have experience of working in a caring or educational role with young people. NVQ 2/3 in Health and Social Care or a willingness to work towards this is required. A clean current driving licence is essential.

SUPPORT WORKER/BUDDY
We are looking for a male* support worker to act as a buddy for a nine year old boy with Cerebral Palsy in the Toton/Long Eaton Nottinghamshire area. Must have a good sense of humour, experience with disabled children and be passionate about cars.
Duties will involve providing personal care, assisting with meals, taking him out and developing activities. Hours of work Sundays 1.30-6.30 pm. Additional hours may be available in school holidays/weekends on a flexible basis.
