Kulvir
Kathy has been Kulvir's case manager for over two years. When Kathy first met Kulvir, he was unable to speak English and was living with extended family after sustaining a severe head injury.
He was fully dependent on his relatives for most activities of daily living when Kathy first met him, but he now lives independently and enjoys cooking and is no longer reliant on his family.
This is a major achievement for Kulvir, who had never lived independently, even prior to his head injury, and he had never cooked a meal previously. He is now able to speak English, after Kathy arranged for him to attend English lessons at his local college.
