*Female Support Worker required for a lovely young lady in the Hildenborough area.

About our client:

Our client (age 18) loves everything pink and glittery and all things music and dance! She lives in a fully adapted house with her parents, young siblings, and two very loving dogs. She has quadriplegic cerebral palsy, epilepsy, is non-verbal, and has a visual impairment. All her medication and fluids are administered via PEG, she is oxygen dependent overnight and requires occasional suctioning. Our client has a care team in place providing round-the-clock support and there is an opening for two full-time support workers to join her team.

About the role:

We require a patient and friendly carer who will support our client in all aspects of her health, care, and medical needs; including providing personal care, administering medication, PEG feeds, manual handling, oxygen, and suctioning (when required).

Plan fun, stimulating, and sensory activities our client can enjoy. The waking night shift starts at 18:45pm with a full handover. You will assist our client with her evening and bedtime routine, once settled you will continually monitor our client throughout the night, tending to all her needs and complete any paperwork/reports from the shift.

There is a carer’s room with a comfortable chair and desk. There is the opportunity to travel with the family to support our client on her summer holidays - valid Passport, please! Training is provided in all aspects of the care plan, whilst previous experience supporting a young person with additional needs is an advantage, it is not essential.
