EXPERIENCE

Kerry has worked as a Case Manager for several years and is experienced in managing support teams and MDTs.  She is also a physiotherapist and combines the two roles.  Kerry qualified from Keele in 1999 and initially worked in a General Hospital gaining experience in all aspects of Physiotherapy care including Neurology, Respiratory, Orthopaedics,Elderly care, and Musculoskeletal Outpatients. She then went onto specialise in musculoskeletal care and has worked for the NHS in large acute hospitals and community settings as well as different sectors within private practice.

Kerry has worked for years within community integrated care and hospital multi-disciplinary settings. She has a good understanding of the MDT involved in the rehabilitation process. She has also worked as a lead clinician and manager in several posts and is experienced in the recruitment, management, education, and development of staff.  

Kerry case manages both children and adult clients who may have one or more of the following conditions:

  • Complex orthopaedic injury
  • Spinal cord injury
  • Amputees
  • Traumatic and acquired brain injury
  • Cerebral palsy
  • Chronic pain conditions
  • Complex regional pain syndrome
  • Peripheral nerve injuries
  • Cauda equina syndrome

She has also set up and developed musculoskeletal services and is experienced in quality improvement with clinical audit.

Kerry continues to work in a clinical assessment and treatment role, as well as preparing Expert Witness Reports for the court.

PERSONAL PROFILE

Kerry lives in South Northamptonshire with her husband and cats. She enjoys spending time in the outdoors running and walking and playing golf. If time allows she also likes to be sedentary and read lots o fbooks. Kerry enjoys working with people to enable them to reach their full potential and improve their quality of life. She is a great believer in the benefits of exercise on physical and mental wellbeing regardless of age ordisability.
