EXPERIENCE

Eloise has over 23 years’ experience working in neuro rehabilitation across the NHS and private sector. She has worked in acute hospitals including HDU (high dependency unit), acute stroke units and neurosurgical wards. She also has extensive experience of inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient clinics, outreach, and community rehabilitation allof which have given her a clear understanding of a clients’ journey. Over the last 6 years she has worked as the Head Occupational Therapist at a private inpatient rehabilitation centre. Currently she works as a BABICM Registered Practitioner Case Manager with CCMS Ltd, also as an independent occupational therapist and expert witness.

Eloise has extensive experience working with complex cases including facilitating safe discharges back into the community and helping clients return to work. She has excellent training skills and has experience supervising and training carers and rehabilitation assistants supporting clients. Eloise can assess for and prescribe specialist equipment and wheelchairs and makerecommendations on minor adaptations.

More recently she has developed her knowledge and skills base around the use of robotic therapy (ArmeoSpring, ArmeoSenso, MindmotionGO and Gripable) as an adjunct to therapy to help clients reach their functional goals. Eloise has experience in remote based therapy and review.

She successfully completed the comprehensive Community Case Management Services brain, spinal and catastrophic complex injury casemanagement pathway development days, which includes a comprehensive understanding of the litigation process.  

PERSONAL PROFILE

Eloise has excellent communication skills and likes towork collaboratively to adopt a holistic client centred approach. She has strong problem-solving skills and extensive experience.

Eloise enjoys spending time with her family; she has 2 children and enjoys many outdoor activities with them. Eloise enjoys swimming, Pilates and cycling. Once a year she cycles 120 miles over two days to raise funds for a nominated charity with friends. She loves travelling the world and experiencing different cultures.
