EXPERIENCE

Lucy graduated her MSc in Occupational Psychologist in 1996 and qualified as Chartered Psychologist in 2000. She is a BABICM Advanced Registered Practitioner and has been a case manager since 2001, Lucy works with adults and children with complex injuries and multiple needs.

Her career began at the Department of Work and Pensions, where Lucy provided support to individuals with diverse disabilities, facilitating their return to work. She has worked in an NHS acute neurological unit and has worked as both a case manager and in case management senior management roles. Lucy has developed training and mentoring programmes for case managers and supported the development and delivery of training programmes for directly employed support workers. She has co-authored three chapters in case management and safeguarding text books.

Lucy has experience as an expert case manager and care expert which compliments her case management role and knowledge of the litigation process and roles.

Lucy works with clients of all ages with catastrophic and life changing injuries and has extensive experience working with clients who present with complex care, case management and therapy needs, and with families and multi-disciplinary and specialist teams. She takes a trauma informed approach to her case management, recognising that catastrophic injury impacts on families and clients alike.

Lucy has extensive experience in developing and managing robust care, support and rehabilitation teams for her clients. She has a full understanding of the litigation needs in relation to both personal injury and medical negligence claims.

Lucy is skilled in multi-agency working and provides an effective and efficient case management service. She is accomplished in working with clients with capacity and best interest requirements and Court of Protection proceedings, and has given evidence in a best interest hearing. She is adept at working within challenging family and social dynamics. Lucy can adapt her approach to individuals to gain both their respect and trust.

Lucy has worked in a senior capacity within case management for over 15 years, mentoring other case managers, and developing and leading case management teams. She dedicates herself to delivering high-quality, independent case management for each client with passion and commitment
