EXPERIENCE

Tom has over 18 years of experience working with clients who suffered traumatic brain injuries, spinal injuries and adults with complex needs – cognitive and behavioural problems as well as psychological illnesses. He has managed 24/7 care teams and provided case management services to clients in the UK and in Poland. Tom works closely with clients and their families, providing them with assistance and advice to maximise their potential and re-gain their independence as much as possible.

Tom qualified as a Paramedic, following three years of study at the State Higher Vocational School in Nysa, Poland and then at the Plovdiv Medical University in Bulgaria (Student exchange Erazmus programme) in 2006. For the past 18 years Tom has been working in the UK in the brain injury sector, supporting people with TBI and providing day to day management and case management.

Since 2019 Tom has been running his own training and management company – Active Training and Management Ltd.  He also runs Cryo-Med Ltd – a company that provides treatments of cryotherapy and cryolipolysis.

For the past 2 years Tom have been providing case management services in the UK and in Poland, supporting Polish speaking clients. He also ran Neurorehabilitation Clinic in Wroclaw - Poland, where Tom was providing bespoke neurorehabilitation packages for TBI clients.

PERSONAL PROFILE

Tom is a dedicated father of two lovely daughters and he is planning to get married next year. As a family they love to travel, bike ride and swim together.

Tom loves to teach and for the past 14 years, he has specialised in delivering first aid, manual handling, epilepsy, and safeguarding courses. Tom is currently collaborating with the WSB Merito University in Wroclaw Poland, to provide training courses for tutors and international students.
