Since 2018, Claire has worked as a Complex Case Manager, specialising in rehabilitation through case management. She has a thorough understanding of the rehabilitation process, from the acute stage through to the community. Claire specialises in a wide range of conditions, including brain injury, cerebral palsy, complex orthopaedic issues, and amputation. She has also provided nursing interventions for spinal patients as a District Nurse. Throughout her career, she has worked with both children and adults, always ensuring the service she provides is holistic and tailored to the individual’s needs. Claire strives for clinical excellence in everything she does and is passionate about placing the client at the centre by empowering them, advocating for them, and engaging them to achieve positive outcomes.
 
Claire is passionate about continued personal development and promoting high standards within case management. She has been a member of BABICM's Professional Practice and Membership Group since 2018, with the aim of working towards achieving her Advanced BABICM Practitioner Level.Claire regularly leads large multi-disciplinary teams, working on goal-focused programmes. Her holistic rehabilitative approach ensures extensive support, therapy, and care is provided to help clients with neurological and physical injuries maximise their physical and cognitive function, quality of life, and achieve their goals.When working with children, families, schools, and local authorities, Claire has experience collaborating with local authorities to ensure they have the evidence needed when creating and maintaining consistent Education and Healthcare Plans. This applies to both special education and mainstream education settings, helping to maximise children and young people’s educational attainment, physical, social, and emotional development, and independence.
 
Claire qualified as a Registered Nurse in Australia in 2003. Since then, she has worked in a variety of roles prior to case management, including critical care (ITU, HDU, CCU, and Stroke), PIP assessments, District Nursing, and forensics with the Police. These roles enabled her to fully understand the opportunities and challenges of working with individuals with various catastrophic injuries, including brain injuries, as well as the impact on the clients, their families, and wider networks.

Claire lived in Australia for 28 years; she studied to become a Registered Nurse qualifying in 2003. She returned home to the UK at the end of 2010. She lives in Merseyside with her 2 dogs and bearded dragon. She has two adult children. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Away from work Claire has spent a lot of weekends watching her boys play sports, she enjoys listening to music and travelling.
