Experience >

With over 20 years of experience in the care sector, Emma has built a well rounded and versatile skill set across a variety of care environments. Her career in complex care began with 12 years of direct client support, working closely with individuals with complex needs. Initially working as a Support Worker and later as a Senior Team Leader, Emma gained valuable expertise in managing complex cases and delivering high-quality, client-centred care. During these roles, she developed a strong ability to implement rehabilitation strategies, create individualised care plans, and provide hands-on support to help clients achieve their goals.

For more than 7 years, Emma has transitioned into the role of Assistant Case Manager, continuing to specialise in complex case management. In this capacity, she works closely with Case Managers, healthcare professionals, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and monitor client progress. Emma plays a key role in managing case documentation, overseeing recruitment, scheduling, and ensuring the maintenance of high standards of care across her teams. Her exceptional organisational skills and ability to adapt to dynamic environments make her an invaluable asset in any team.

Emma is a dedicated, results-driven professional with a proven track record of supporting both adults and children with a wide range of disabilities, including acquired brain injuries, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, learning disabilities, and challenging behaviours. She excels in providing holistic, client-centred care and in building strong, collaborative relationships with clients, their families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Emma has completed the Community Case Management comprehensive Pathway Development Days, which includes training on understanding the litigation process and the responsibilities of a case manager.
