Gabriella studied Psychology at Aberystwyth University, and following her undergraduate degree she undertook a Master’s degree in Neuropsychology. During her MSc, Gabriella completed a qualitative research study into the impact of community rehabilitation on the recovery of an individual after traumatic brain injury. As part of this study, she interviewed several support workers who worked with Community Case Managements’ clients.
Gabriella has over a decade of experience in neurorehabilitation settings, from support worker to case manager, complemented by research and team leadership. She has managed complex support packages, collaborated with multidisciplinary teams, and supported clients in transformative community experiences, including inclusive skiing trips and vocational transitions. Her strengths lie in turning strategy into deliverables — whether it's building bespoke rehabilitation pathways, navigating transitions alongside her clients or thinking outside of the box, she believes rehabilitation should feel meaningful, not mechanised.
Gabriella is passionate about advocating for inclusivity, autonomy and strength based individualised outcomes. Gabriella has years of experience communicating with multidisciplinary teams and families and finds the collaborative approach essential. Working with a wider network who have a specialist knowledge base is invaluable to contributing to a client’s quality of life. Gabriella understands that there is strength in knowing your weaknesses and values having a team around her who are all working towards the same client centred goal.
