Martha is an experienced case manager and occupational therapist (OT) with a wealth of experience in both adults and paediatrics. Martha graduated from the University of Brighton with a first-class honours degree in Occupational Therapy and has since worked in a wide range of settings, including acute inpatient, outpatients, community rehabilitation, schools and homes.

Martha’s career has been dedicated to improving the lives of individuals who face significant challenges due to traumatic brain injuries and other complex neurological conditions. She has worked extensively with both adults and children, but her true passion lies in paediatric care, where she has been fortunate to provide specialised support for children in a range of settings.

Throughout her career, she has gained extensive experience in a variety of areas, such as housing adaptations, 24-hour postural management, fatigue management, and sensory interventions. She has worked closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive rehabilitation support programs, always ensuring that the needs of clients are met in a holistic and personalized manner. In addition, she has supported individuals with visual impairments and promoted the use of assistive technology. She has completed training to conduct mental capacity assessments for the Court of Protection, ensuring that legal and ethical considerations are respected.

Martha firmly believes that early intervention and collaboration are key to achieving positive outcomes, and she consistently advocates for her clients to ensure that they receive the best possible care. She is driven by the belief that every individual, regardless of their condition, has the potential to lead a fulfilling life with the right support and rehabilitation in place.

Martha is married with two young children and enjoys time outside with her family. She has a Border Collie “Duke” who joins the family for outdoor adventures, camping trips and walks.

Martha identifies the importance of having a balanced lifestyle, which incorporates time to relax and unwind. At the weekend she will often be found in the kitchen baking with the children or going out for a run.
