Experience >

Megan graduated from Aston University in 2019 with a first-class degree in Psychology. During her placement year, she worked as a Teaching Assistant in a special needs school in New Zealand, supporting children and young people aged 4-21 with a range of needs including Autism, Cerebral Palsy and Downs Syndrome. Alongside this, she held an Honorary Assistant Psychologist role, assisting with psychological research. It was during this period that Megan was first introduced to support work through CCM, beginning her career as a Support Worker in 2017, including one-to-one with a young girl with Cerebral Palsy.

In 2021, Megan took on the role of National Company Manager for a UK-based therapy support company, managing care teams on a case-by-case basis, nationwide. While this role expanded her understanding of leadership, it reinforced her passion for direct client-focused support. This led her to transition into Assistant Case Management in February 2023, before progressing to Case Manager in September 2023, where she now works directly with clients and their support networks.

All of Megan’s experience in support delivery has given her a strong understanding of what is required to achieve meaningful client goals and improve quality of life. With over eight years experience in the field, Megan has worked with individuals presenting with a wide range of physical, cognitive and psychosocial needs, from complex care and mobility requirements to those focused on re-engaging with education, employment and community life. Megan brings a strong case management skillset, including coordinating multidisciplinary teams, overseeing support delivery and navigating complex family and support networks with sensitivity and professionalism. She adopts a client-centred, therapeutic approach, providing clear leadership to establish effective support teams and rehabilitation programmes that enable individuals with acquired brain injuries to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Personal Profile >

During her free time, Megan loves to keep active and is always keen to try new experiences. Day to day, she enjoys running and cold-water swimming, recently completing the Chester Marathon in 2025. She is a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and particularly enjoys diving in sunny locations. When not training or exploring outdoors, Megan spends plenty of time with her two energetic German Shorthaired Pointers. Away from training and the outdoors, she enjoys baking her own sourdough and spending time cooking
