Experience >

Robert is an experienced Case Manager with over 10 years of expertise supporting both children and adults living with acquired brain injuries (ABI) and spinal injuries. He is passionate about providing person-centred case management that focuses on empowering clients to achieve the best possible quality of life through tailored rehabilitation, coordinated care, and practical support.

Robert’s background spans health, social care, and specialist training delivery. His approach combines sound clinical understanding with practical problem solving and empathy to support clients in their navigation of complex care needs and transitions; from hospital discharge to long term independence. He has extensive experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, therapists, and families to ensure seamless communication and continuity of care. Prior to specialising in case management, Robert developed a strong foundation in health and safety, life support, and training delivery. He continues to lecture in life support and manual handling, both privately and at university level for nursing and midwifery students. He has also previously served as a Community First Responder and has demonstrated his commitment to professional development and passion for high quality care.

Robert’s earlier professional experience includes several years in the Royal Navy Reserve, where he gained valuable leadership, teaching, and crisis management skills. These experiences have contributed to his calm, organised, and adaptable approach to complex client situations.

Personal Profile >

Outside of work, Robert leads an active and family focused lifestyle. He is an avid road cyclist and a committed member of a cycling club, regularly taking part in organised sportives and endurance events.

Robert is also deeply involved in the equestrian world, supporting a family passion of breeding and producing quality horses within the dressage discipline. While he rides less frequently these days, he remains very hands-on in their care, training, and development.

Away from his sporting interests, Robert enjoys spending quality time with his young daughter, who has recently started school. His balance of family life, outdoor pursuits, and animal care reflects his energetic, disciplined, and compassionate nature — qualities that carry through into his professional life.
